Sauk City: Arkham House. Softcover. Wraps, saddle-stitched 8.5x5.5". Number Six, Winter, 1970 (pp 158-180), was published after Derleth was hospitalized for 87 days with complications from gall bladder removal, resulting in more poetry contributions (Joseph Payne Brennan, Lin Carter and several others) plus a fragment by Lovecraft, "Nyarlathotep", and a story by Brian Lumley. Number Seven, Summer 1970 (pp 182-220), includes lots of verses, a story by Donald Wollheim and Gahan Wilson's map of Arkham circa 1930. Nuymber Eight, Winter 1971 (pp 221-256) has stories by Carl Jacobi, Gary Myers and Miki Myrick alongside verses by Clark Ashton Smith, Lin Carter, Brian Lumley, Jospeh Payne Brennan and others. Soft creasing to Number Six, fotherwise a fine collection. Item #37292
